My favorite book on product management so far! The book is not written in a very coherent fashion, each (very short) chapter is its own wisdom, building on the previous ones thoruought the book. At times, the white space and blank pages seem wasted - but then again, what do most authors fill it with? In Marty Cagan's book Inspired you'll find a new insight on every page, leaving room for questions you'll need to find the answers to in your daily practice.

Marty Cagan does put a lot of valuable ideas in this book, but I found it pretty dry and theoretical. For all of the techniques that he described it would have been so easy to provide an example, a picture, etc.E.g. he is describing things like a Startup Canvas or a Story Board, why not add real life examples?I don't get the hype around this book. Generally good content, good ideas, put poor execution.

Mir wurde das Buch von einem erfahrenen Produktmanager eines DAX-notierten Internetunternehmens empfohlen und ich fand es einfach und gut zu lesen. Die Kapitel sind kurz und knackig, verschiedene Rollen in der digitalen Produktentwicklung beschrieben. Ich bin noch nicht ganz durch, aber ich denke, ich werde immer mal wieder reinschauen.

Really well structured and quite objective description of Product Management. There are no complex techniques, but for anyone who wants to start as Product manager this is great intro. Marty Cagan tries to be transparent and realistic, avoiding idealization.

I got this book for my birthday from a product friend.It has been the most helpful book I've ever read that is directly related to one certain job role. It has become my bible (and also that of my friend).I want to thank Marty for sharing the knowledge.I recently subscribed to his blog, I'm looking forward to reading the blog as well.
